NDIS Physiotherapy

At Better Move Mobile Physiotherapy, we believe your disability doesn’t define you — your goals do.

We work with NDIS participants of all ages across Brisbane and Ipswich, delivering personalised physiotherapy that helps you move better, build confidence, and live more independently.

Our experienced team comes to you — at home, school, or in the community — so you can achieve your goals in the environment where you feel most comfortable.

NDIS Physiotherapy for Children

At Better Move Mobile Physiotherapy, we help children develop confidence, strength, and independence through fun, play-based therapy.

Our physiotherapists work with kids and families under the NDIS Early Childhood and Improved Daily Living categories, supporting development in movement, coordination, and everyday skills.

Each session is engaging and tailored to your child’s goals — whether it’s improving balance, learning new movement patterns, or building confidence to join in everyday activities.

We make therapy enjoyable and practical, helping children reach their milestones and get the best start in life.

NDIS Physiotherapy for Adults

At Better Move Mobile Physiotherapy, we support adults living with neurological and complex conditions to move better, stay active, and enjoy life.

We understand that therapy can feel challenging at times — that’s why we make it enjoyable. Our team believes variety keeps you motivated, so every session is engaging, practical, and focused on what matters most to you.

Whether you’re recovering from a stroke, managing multiple sclerosis, or improving day-to-day mobility, our physiotherapists meet you where you are — physically and emotionally.

We’re all kids at heart, and we know life’s already hard enough without being pushed through exercises you hate. Our goal is to make therapy something you look forward to while also meeting your needs, helping you feel stronger, more capable, and confident in your daily life.

Empowering You to Live Beyond Limitations

At Better Move Mobile Physiotherapy, we meet you where you are — physically and personally.

Our sessions take place where you feel most comfortable: at home, in the community, or even doing the things you love — like horse riding, gardening, or getting out with friends. Every environment is an opportunity for growth.

In-home physiotherapy allows us to understand your daily challenges, adapt treatment to your real world, and create lasting results that fit your lifestyle. We believe therapy should empower you to live better, not just manage symptoms.

Our mission is simple — to help you do more than you ever thought possible. We don’t see disability as a limitation; we see it as the starting point for potential. Together, we’ll build confidence, independence, and a life that goes beyond what you imagined.

Frequently Asked Questions - NDIS Physiotherapy

Can I use my NDIS funding for physiotherapy?

Yes — physiotherapy can be funded under NDIS when it’s deemed reasonable and necessary and supports your plan goals (for mobility, independence, strength, or functional improvements).

Which parts of my NDIS plan can cover physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy services typically fall under Capacity Building supports (e.g. “Improved Daily Living”) or Health and Wellbeing. It is important to confirm with a support co-ordinator or specialist to confirm your NDIS plan has appropriate funding for physiotherapy.

Do I have to use a registered NDIS provider for physiotherapy?

No. If your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can choose any qualified physiotherapist — including those who aren’t NDIS-registered.
This gives you more flexibility to pick a therapist you trust and who best understands your goals.

How do I get started with NDIS physiotherapy?

- Check that physiotherapy is included in your NDIS plan

- Contact a provider (like us) and provide your plan details

- Schedule an initial assessment

- Work with the provider to set goals that align with your plan

- The provider may supply reports to support reviews

If you need assistance at any point, we are here to help. Call and text anytime on 0450 772 045

Our sessions are tailored to each participant’s goals, using fun, play-based therapy for children and engaging, real-life activities for adults — helping every person move better, feel stronger, and live more independently.

Do you do hydrotherapy under NDIS?

Yes. We offer hydrotherapy sessions as part of your physiotherapy supports to improve strength, flexibility, pain control, and movement in a low-impact environment.

Can therapy happen in my home or community?

Yes. We deliver in-home and community-based therapy so you don’t need to travel. We adapt sessions to your environment.

How often will I have physiotherapy sessions?

Session frequency depends on your goals, condition, and plan funding. We’ll propose a schedule that balances progress and sustainability.

What happens if my NDIS plan changes or I have a review?

We can provide updated reports, progress summaries, and liaise with your support team to align your physiotherapy with your new plan.

Can I see you if I’m private or not on NDIS?

Yes. We also offer private and Medicare physiotherapy services. You don’t have to be an NDIS participant to access our services.

Do you work with other health professionals?

Yes — absolutely.

We believe you get the best results when your entire care team works together.
We don’t just agree with collaboration — we actively make it happen.

Our physiotherapists communicate with your support coordinator, GP, occupational therapist, exercise physiologist, or any other professional involved in your care.
By sharing insights and aligning treatment goals, we make sure everyone is working toward the same outcome — helping you achieve the best possible results.
